Link Verification for Mastodon
Prove you own your site on the fediverse.
A lightweight WordPress plugin that injects the required rel="me" link tag into your site’s head, so verifying ownership on Mastodon takes a setting instead of a theme edit.

What I own
A small personal plugin, published on WordPress.org: written, documented and maintained on my own.
Enter your Mastodon username, save, and the plugin outputs the matching rel="me" link in the site head. That is the whole job.
The usual advice is to edit header.php or maintain a child theme. This survives theme switches and updates instead.
No dashboard, no tracking, no settings nobody asked for — a single option and the smallest amount of code that does the thing.
Verification puts a green check next to your domain on your Mastodon profile, which is the fediverse’s version of proof that the site is really yours.
