Existing media is compressed and served in modern formats without the site owner touching a single file.
Stylesheets and scripts are minified and trimmed so browsers download and parse less on every page load.
Multiple stylesheets and scripts are merged into single files, cutting the number of HTTP requests a page has to make.
Optimization jobs are queued and processed in batches behind the scenes, so a large media library never blocks the admin or the site.
